Insomniac Games ,in conjunction with EA, are coming out with their first social game debut. The game is called Outernauts. They essentially want to change the face of the Facebook gaming industry. With competition from Farmville and other games, Outernauts hopes to become one of the most played games on Facebook.
Before Outernauts, Insomniac Games worked on consoles games such as the Resistance franchise. With that under their belt, this game can have success but they might have to learn a lot of the Facebook world.
Facebook is not full of die hard gamers like those of a console. The range of audience is tremendous and if they fail to realize this, it can be their demise.
